You can almost hear the band playing Pomp and Circumstance already, can’t you? I sure can. I played trombone in my high school band, and we lived for this season… at least for the first 17 times through Pomp and Circumstance. After that, well, let’s just say we were ready for those mortar boards to fly and the band to march into summer break.

Whether you’re the proud parent of a senior, have a fridge covered in party invites, or you’re just trying to plan around those packed event weekends, we’ve got you covered.

Here’s a handy list of graduation dates, times, and locations for high schools and career techs within about a 30-mile radius of Shawnee, where every school name on this list rings familiar and graduation season is a full-on celebration. This year’s ceremonies are spread out from early to late May, with FireLake Arena once again hosting a number of local favorites.

So go ahead, charge your phone, make room for way too many photos, and double-check your tissue supply. These grads are ready to walk across the stage, and we’re here to cheer them on!
