Financial Relief Available for April 19 Tornado Victims
Do you still have loss from the April 19 tornado?
The National Association of REALTORS® has provided a grant for affected residents! This program is for housing relief only and does not cover loss of clothing, appliances, equipment, vehicles.
- Mortgage or rental costs during displacement
- Hotel expense from being displaced

Deadline to apply is July 10, 2023.
The Oklahoma Housing Foundation is also accepting grant applications for deposits and repairs. This may fill some gaps not covered by the national relief foundation grant.

They say to allow up to five business days for the review of the grant application. A member of the Oklahoma Housing Foundation will contact you through your co-signing REALTOR® within this timeframe if you are eligible.
No deadline to apply.
Families whose homes were damaged and were left uninhabitable during the April 19 and 20 severe weather outbreak are eligible to apply for an up to $1,500 grant through Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency’s Richard S. Lillard Emergency Housing Assistance Fund.
Eligible uses:
- Payment of one month’s rent
- Rental deposits
- Utility deposits
- Hotel accommodations
